This remarkable chateau wedding venue dates back to the fifteenth century. However, the current neo-gothic rebuild took place in the nineteenth century. And over the last few years, the current owners have completely refurbished the interior. So now you can enjoy modern luxury in an historical setting. Isn’t that just what we look for in a French chateau wedding venue?
And your journey to the Courtyard won’t disappoint either. It sits on the southern side of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park. So, it doesn’t matter which direction you come from, you’ll be going through some of the loveliest countryside in France.
Typically French
Your journey from the typically French village nearby takes you past green fields on one side and woodland on the other. You can easily pop into the village bakery, bars and restaurants during your stay as it’s only a few minutes drive away.
As well as the lovely courtyard at the front of the chateau, there are plenty of ceremony spaces in the extensive grounds. And if you have your heart set on a church-style wedding, there are two chapels to choose from!
Plenty to do
There’s also plenty to do either side of your big day. If you want to stay in the grounds, there are indoor and outdoor games – and the swimming-pool of course. For the adventurous, there’s everything from exploring caves; boat trips; to hot-air balloons – and much more in between. You can get a flavour of what’s on offer in this guide to the Périgord region.
And, of course, you can always ask us.
